C.M. (Cherylann), who is originally from Philadelphia, became interested
in art early in her childhood. Later, after raising a family and working
in legal and defense contracting businesses, she returned to her real
passion: art. At first she worked in oils and acrylics, but as her
style developed she came to prefer pastels. Recently she has begun
branching out into watercolors. Cherylann is mostly self-taught, but
has also studied under Patty Rice, Grace Pendleton and Gwen Bragg.
Much of her work has found homes in private collections.
