Mike Flynn
Mike is originally from Syracuse, New York, but went to college in Montreal, Quebec. After taking some evening classes from a talented local artist, Mike became intrigued by the properties and techniques that make watercolor so simple, yet difficult to master. Mike often paints in a detailed style, but does explore abstract styles and works in mixed media. He is mostly self-taught and enjoys workshops and classes to broaden and enhance his understanding of watercolor. His artwork has made its way into private collections in several east coast states.

The world of watercolor
is pigment + water + paper…they can finish just as you imagined…or
they can react like nothing you had planned…. It’s an adventure
waiting to happen.
