Linda
has experienced art as a part of her life since she first picked up
a pencil or crayon. The art courses she has taken have encouraged
her to try different mediums and to grow in expressing herself as
she creates art. Linda primarily paints still lifes in oil but also
works in pastels. Her style is very representational, with dramatic
Vermeer-like lighting. Her works have been exhibited in various shows
at the Torpedo Factory Art League gallery, in venues in Old Town Manassas,
and other areas.

Working in oils gives
me a deep satisfaction in their ability to capture light.
