Gina Noelle Ash
Gina is a Colorado
native now residing in Virginia who has been painting since childhood
and held her first one-woman show at age 16. She has exhibited in
various galleries and venues throughout Colorado, Texas, Maryland,
and Virginia, and is a current member of the Fairfax Arts Council,
the artists' cooperative ArtBeat, and a Signature Artist member
of the Virginia Watercolor Society.
Statement
Most of my paintings
are rooted in an emotional response to a piece of music or literature,
so I suppose that makes me an illustrator at heart. It pleases me
most as an artist to produce a work that is thought-provoking, even
unsettling.
